About The Mad Puppet Lab

 

 

The Mad Puppet Lab was started by Don Schockow who has worked in the entertainment field since the early 1980's.

 

His co-partner, Susan, has an amazing knack for art and fabric construction. Together, they began to build some of the industries best hand puppets with special qualities and touches not found in other puppets.

 

 

All Mad Puppet Lab Puppets are handmade in the old traditional way. No cardboard or cheap materials are ever used. And each puppet comes with a special Easy Glide Mouth™ making it easier for the puppeteer to move the puppets' lower jaw, as opposed to the upper head, when talking.

 

And now, with the opening of the Mad Puppet Lab, more puppeteers, both professional and amateur, can own one of these special puppets.
